Home Support/Maintenance Program

There are two related programs for seniors: one for inside of the home, and the other for outside of the home.  Both have a user fee (fee for service).

Home Help Program and Home Maintenance Program.

The HOME HELP PROGRAM offers help for those 65 years of age or older who require assistance to complete certain essential activities independently.  This is especially true if the activity must be completed for the senior to remain in their own home.  Help can be given with the following home making services:

• Dusting
• Washing Dishes
• Laundry
• Vaccuuming

HOME MAINTENANCE SERVICES offers lawn cutting and snow removal on a fee-for-service basis for seniors 65 years of age and over. To qualify for the services they must be unable to complete the work safely, and require these tasks completed to remain in their own home.
